What are you going to do?
We are immediately looking for a logistics team leader for the picking department for a nice international company in the pharmaceutical world. As a team leader, you ensure that the process of picking outgoing orders is done correctly, so that the orders can be handed over to the packing department in a correct and timely manner. Together with the coordinators and the supervisor, you ensure that the entire process runs smoothly. If you already have experience in the role of coordinator, cooperating foreman and/or assistant logistics team leader, then this vacancy is a great next step!
As a logistics team leader, your average working day looks like this:
At the start of the day you start the entire process of your department. This includes checking pick lists and orders, calculating the workload and (re)scheduling the right people in the right place. On the computer you work with various office software (ERP systems): SAP, Arrow, E1 and WMS. You then give instructions to the employees and help where necessary. In your role as team leader, it is important that you know what is going on in the other departments. This way you can have proper consultation during the meetings, where you are busy analyzing logistical changes about the improvement processes within the company, you do this using the LEAN/PPI methodology. On the work floor, for example, you help improve the layout of the warehouse with the help of a forklift. Together with the other team leaders, you are responsible for achieving the targets so that the company stays running. You do this by monitoring and supporting the progress of the entire process of your department.

Inventory is received from manufacturing sites and suppliers around the world. Requirements
For this position it is important that you have experience in leading a group of people in a logistics environment. You also recognize yourself in the following:
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- A strong sense of ownership for picking;
- Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English;
- Leadership capabilities;
- Ability to motivate and inspire;
- Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement;
- You are willing to work in the refrigeration and freezer.
What we offer
For this full-time position you work from Monday to Friday and in return you will receive a gross monthly salary of €3000 to €3500 (depending on your experience). In addition to your salary, you will receive a travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer (from 10 km).
