What are you going to do?
You know how it is: you order a package and a day later it arrives on your doorstep! But there is a whole process that precedes that delivery. As a warehouse employee you play an important role in that process! You do the shopping for the customer, as it were, and ensure that the stores in both NL and BE are full of the finest products. You will work in different departments within this process, so your work remains varied. Have you completely found your place and are you doing your job well as a warehouse assistant? There is a good chance that you can then grow into a warehouse employee with fixed hours and be given more responsibilities. About the employer
The logistics center is located in Beverwijk. The team currently consists of 150 distribution employees, 5 team leaders, 3 assistant managers, an operations manager and the manager. It is a fun team that works hard, but also laughs a lot. Our client is a specialist in natural health. They have been active on the European market for more than 150 years and can proudly call themselves the largest and oldest health retailer in Europe.
They now have more than 1,600 stores around the world, making them one of the leading retailers in the field of nutritional supplements, natural beauty products and healthy food in the world.
Due to the location in Beverwijk, it is useful that you have your own transport or come from the area. For example, if you come from Amsterdam, Alkmaar or Haarlem, it is certainly accessible. If you travel by public transport, it is useful to leave a bicycle at Beverwijk station.
Requirements
You are an energetic colleague with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a friendly team where people work hard. Experience as a warehouse employee is not required, but is certainly an advantage.
And further:
- You have good communication skills in Dutch and/or English;
- You are available in the evening (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM) or in the morning (5:45 AM to 2:15 PM);
- If you work in the evening, you will receive an allowance of 35% on top of your salary after 8:00 PM.
- You are stress-resistant and can work systematically;
- You can be deployed flexibly, including at weekends (we will make the schedule in consultation);
- You are driven, results-oriented and a real team player.
- You live in the Amsterdam, Haarlem, Haarlemmermeer, Zaanstad area.
