What are you going to do?
As a production employee you will mainly be busy processing empty beer crates. This means that you stand along a conveyor belt where the empty beer crates are processed. The machine sorts the glass and you perform the tasks that the machine cannot do. This includes, for example, placing sorted glass in other crates, checking and moving crates to the right location. This can be quite heavy work, so you must be able to lift heavy. Furthermore, this position offers career opportunities to operator, forklift driver and perhaps even team leader.
About the employer
The Zoeterwoude Brewery is a technically very high-quality brewery. Total beer production is approximately 10 million hectoliters, of which more than 65% is intended for export. The Zoeterwoude Brewery therefore produces 40% of the entire volume of beer produced by this brand. Cool huh?
It is useful if you have your own transport because of a 3-shift schedule. For example, if you come from The Hague, Zoetermeer, Leiden & Alphen aan den Rijn, it is certainly easily accessible. If you travel by public transport, it is useful to have a bicycle at Leiden station.
Requirements
We expect you to have no problem with (heavy) lifting, because you are mainly lifting crates with empty bottles. You stand and walk all day. You will also have to check for damaged products and remain alert. In addition, it is important that you can work well in a team and speak the Dutch and/or English language.
What we offer
We offer a full-time temporary employment contract, with the prospect of permanent employment by the client. The salary you earn for this position is €12 gross per hour. Because you work in a 3-shift system from Monday to Friday, you will receive a surcharge of 19%, which will make your hourly wage €14.28. The working hours are from 07:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 23:00 and from 23:00 to 07:00.
