What are you going to do?
For one of our customers we are looking for someone who can strengthen the Shipping Team in Hoofddorp with fresh ideas and knowledge and experience in the field of shipping. You are a positive, energetic person with good knowledge of packaging and shipping and driving a forklift. You have good knowledge of shipping in a fast-paced environment with challenging targets. We are also open to opportunities for students who can work in the Shipping department around their MBO Logistics studies. For this full-time position you have the following responsibilities:
- Keep the assembly area clear of finished tires at all times
- Ensuring that all orders are packed in appropriately sized boxes and securely strapped to pallets so that no damage occurs during transit.
- For packaging accessories according to date, checking quantities, description of the work order and work and order instructions
- Ensure that all orders are prepared for inspection
- When completing an order, you check systems for any changes to the order and ensure that the labels are placed on the correct boxes.
- Process orders and ensure instructions and guidelines are adhered to until final shipment.
- Prepare shipping documents and book EU shipments with carriers
- Arranging labeled boxes for loading for transportation

The client is currently located in Hoofddorp, they have very recently moved to a new warehouse. If you come from Amsterdam, Haarlem, Haarlemmermeer, Zaanstad or Leiden, the company is certainly easily accessible by both car and public transport.
Requirements
- A forklift certificate is an advantage
- You speak English
- Product knowledge of Oracle and/or Kewill/Blujay is very useful
- Relevant work experience in a logistics department
- Self-managing, independent and proactive
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
- Willing to work outside regular working hours if necessary
