Team leader in a production environment
What are you going to do?
As a production manager in the packaging department, you are responsible for managing the operators and production employees to ensure that the process runs smoothly. You are ultimately responsible for the quality of the packaged product. Including correct registration of the required quality requirements and work assignments. You also have knowledge of all packaging lines, machines and the process. This is important because it sometimes happens that a shift leader has to step in to achieve the targets.

The customers are mainly located in Europe and the Middle East.

Due to its favorable location, the company is easily accessible from Leiden, Zoetermeer, The Hague and Rotterdam.
Requirements
- You have a number of years of managerial experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry;
- You have a sense of responsibility, are good at organizing and are able to train your staff skillfully;
- You have knowledge of technical processes;
- You also provide coaching leadership, provide enthusiastic and positive input and think in solutions instead of problems;
- Flexibility: there is currently a two-shift system and Saturdays can be part of the working week.
- You are familiar with HACCP and have an eye for safety and hygiene.
