What are you going to do?
As the manager of a small team of production employees, you are responsible as a cooperating foreman for the smooth running of the production environment. You lead a team of approximately 10-15 employees and are involved in various tasks, including resolving malfunctions, performing administrative tasks and actively contributing to production activities. In addition to these activities, you are also responsible for managing and guiding other production employees to ensure production runs smoothly. Similar job titles are shift leader, department head or foreman.
About the employer
The Zoeterwoude Brewery is located in a technically advanced location, where a total beer production of approximately 10 million hectoliters takes place. The majority of this production, more than 65%, is exported. The Zoeterwoude Brewery is responsible for 40% of the brand's total beer production volume. Within the Inbound department, where you will work, all empty crates of beer bottles are received and prepared for the next load.
Since you will be working in shifts, it is useful to have your own transportation. Zoeterwoude is easily accessible from various places, including The Hague, Zoetermeer, Leiden and Alphen aan den Rijn.
Requirements
As a cooperating employee in this position, you are expected to be able to lift heavy weights due to the physical effort required when handling kegs. Moreover, you will have to be alert to identify damaged products. For this full-time position it is important that you have a good command of the Dutch language. In addition, it is useful if you have an affinity with operating machines, have experience working on a forklift, can perform administrative tasks and are flexible to work in 3 shifts. You will receive a shift allowance of 19% for this. It is important that you are willing to work overtime when necessary and that you are a team player.
What we offer
At the start of your employment you will receive a full-time temporary employment contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract with the client. You can count on a competitive salary of approximately €14 per hour and there are good career opportunities within the company. On top of your salary you will receive a shift allowance of 19%. After a while there is the possibility of a permanent contract. In addition, practice-oriented training and education are offered to ensure safety in the workplace.
