Part-time mail distributor in Amsterdam
What are you going to do?
Ensure that the mail is distributed properly, so that the preparers can send everything perfectly to the delivery depots. This requires someone who keeps an overview and continues to work carefully even when things are busy. A lot has to be done to get the mail to the customer as quickly as possible. Your responsibility starts at the very beginning of that process. You ensure the initial splitting of all incoming mail, so that the preparers can distribute and prepare it correctly. You also ensure that there are always enough rolling containers and bin carts available and that the full bags are transported to the various delivery depots on time. You are the eyes and ears of the team leader on the work floor, so you ensure that everyone continues to work well and that you always know exactly what the progress is. And of course you continue until the work is completely finished. In this position you will work between 20 and 32 hours a week between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. This position is comparable to positions such as: Order Picker, Logistics Employee, Production Employee, Warehouse Employee and Mail Sorter.

Requirements
- You are at least 20 years old.
- You have at least an MBO-2 diploma.
- You can communicate well, both speaking and writing.
- You work accurately and do not easily lose the overview.
- You make the right decisions, even when it's busy.
- You enjoy managing people.
- You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
