What are you going to do?
We are looking for an experienced team leader who is able to coordinate irregular shifts. In this role it is essential that you have excellent organizational skills and experience with logistics processes. As a Logistics Team Leader you are responsible for daily production and ensure that everything runs smoothly. This means, among other things, that you closely monitor activities on the work floor and ensure the correct staffing levels. You are responsible for the maintenance of warehouses and proactively deal with bottlenecks in the logistics processes by identifying them, analyzing them and making efficient improvements where necessary. In addition, you are able to properly lead, train and motivate your staff.

This company is a leading distribution center with modern storage and transport systems that enable efficient and reliable work. You will work in an ultra-modern working environment that recently opened in Bleiswijk. The working atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and there is plenty of room for new ideas within the distribution center. You work in 5 shifts from Monday to Sunday, although of course you do not work seven days in a row.
The company's location is easily accessible from Rotterdam, The Hague, Zoetermeer, Leiden and Westland. Moreover, there is a bus stop in front of the distribution center, so you can also easily get there by public transport.
Requirements
- MBO 4 diploma in Logistics;
- At least 2 years of work experience in a logistics and/or transport environment;
- Demonstrable experience with operational management;
- Be prepared to work in a 5-shift system.
What we offer
- The salary is based on your work experience, knowledge and education and will be between €3000 and €4000 per month;
