What are you going to do?
As an operator, you ensure that the machines are accurately set or adjusted and you release the production processes so that the production employees can start producing the parts. You regularly take samples to measure and check whether the machine is properly set up and the parts produced meet all requirements.
For each discipline, an operator, together with a team of production employees, is responsible for completing the orders placed. You guide employees and support them with explanations, setup and minor maintenance of machines, tools and robots. You also think about how you could improve processes.
About the employer
Our client is in the water pump business. Every detail of our pumps is designed and made in our own factory. Good quality of our pumps starts with the production of the parts.
Every day we make and process many parts such as impellers, tie rods, pump casings and headers with advanced machines and sophisticated processes. Each part has its own process. For our Production department we are looking for an Operator who wants to develop to master and improve our largely automated processes in production, to guarantee the quality of the parts and to support colleagues in their work. Requirements
- The most important thing for this position is that you quickly learn and understand technical processes, so that you can guide other colleagues and improve processes. We teach you everything internally about the machines that you need to know for your position;
- You work and think at MBO level or higher;
- All mutual communication and work instructions are in Dutch. It is important for the quality of your work that you speak Dutch well;
- You enjoy working in a team, are flexible, work accurately and have an eye for quality;
- It is no problem for you to work in a two-shift system (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM / 2:50 PM - 11:50 PM).
What we offer
We offer you a full-time contract with the prospect of a permanent contract. You will work in a 2-shift system, with working hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 2:50 PM to 11:50 PM. The salary varies between 2300 gross per month to 3300 gross per month depending on your experience. You get 27 vacation days and on top of that you get 13 additional hours. You will also participate in the profit distribution, and you will be rewarded if you are not sick.
