Technician Pre Delivery Inspection in Heinenoord.
What are you going to do?
As a Pre Delivery Inspection technician you will work in a modern workshop in Heienoord, where it is your responsibility to ensure that all aerial platforms are fully functional before they leave the office. In this role your main tasks are:
- Carrying out checks, inspections and short functional tests on aerial work platforms and telehandlers using a checklist, in a modern workshop;
- Reading and writing hydraulics, preferably for mobile vehicles;
- Working with hydraulic, electronic, mechanical and motor aspects;
- Managing other PDI technicians;
- Working with both electric and diesel powered machines.
Similar positions at other companies are also referred to as Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, Assembly Engineer, Assembly Engineer or Maintenance Engineer.

As an official dealer of top brands such as Genie, Versalift, Manitou and Teupen, they serve the Dutch market. In Belgium and Luxembourg they are the official dealer of Genie, Versalift and Ruthmann. They also distribute their products through their sister company Statech to 12 Eastern European countries. In collaboration with Genie, they also supply machines to customers in the Middle East, Asia and South America. The company is located on the business park in Heinenoord and can be reached by public transport for people in the area, but private transport is more convenient for customers from Rotterdam, Dordrecht, Delft or Spijkenisse.
Requirements
- You have completed an MBO education in a technical field, preferably in mechatronics or vehicles and mobile equipment;
- You have experience and knowledge of mobile equipment and are skilled with computers;
- In addition, you have experience as a cooperative foreman and the ability to manage people;
- It is important that you have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing.
What we offer
This is a full-time position with a starting salary of €17 to €19 per hour, depending on experience. There is a possibility that this amount will be higher. In addition, the position offers excellent secondary employment conditions, such as a travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer and a comfortable workplace. The contract offered is on a temporary basis, but there are certainly opportunities to grow into permanent employment.
