What are you going to do?
As soon as a customer walks into the Alphen aan den Rijn branch, they immediately see you because you are our calling card every Saturday! The customer often knows which machine or tool they need. If they don't know this, no problem; you can give them advice and help the customer in the search for the ideal product. Of course, you would like to take the time to do this in your side job as a part-time sales employee. And that starts with the customer's request. They do this personally, by email or by telephone. Only when the customer is happy are you satisfied. In fact, customers come back later because you always help them so well! You are also busy with:
- Checking the stock and whether the (returned) machines are working properly. Of course, you will first receive training on this. For example, how to check the oil.
- Drawing up correct rental contracts, advising how the materials work and loading and unloading machines for the customer. Is it too heavy? Then feel free to call a colleague.
- Ensure that all administration has been processed in detail.

About the employer
Our client started as a family business and has grown into a large multinational. They are currently one of the largest rental companies in Europe. They rent out machines, tools, temporary housing and event equipment. One of the locations is in Alphen aan den Rijn. Requirements
You enjoy helping and advising customers about all kinds of machines. You have technical product knowledge or would like to learn this. You are also customer-oriented, have good communication skills and are eager to learn. The most important thing is that you are available on Saturdays. In addition, we expect the following:
- In addition to Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., you are also available for a number of hours during the week by arrangement.
- You want to work extra hours during the holidays.
- You are prepared to obtain a VCA.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language.

- For this part-time position your salary depends on your age. From 20 years and older you earn a salary of €11.51 per hour;
