What are you going to do?
Whether you have just completed an electrical engineering course or have several years of work experience in this field, we are looking for enthusiastic technicians for a large company in the railway industry. There are a variety of positions available for energetic individuals with a passion for technology. As a mechanic at this company you are responsible for carrying out maintenance, renovation and new construction work on the railway infrastructure. Don't worry, you won't be thrown in at the deep end straight away; In the first period you follow an internal training course. After completing this training, you will be fully ready to start working as an independent mechanic. We are looking for candidates for a variety of full-time mechanic positions, ranging from no experience to years of experience and everything in between.
In the beginning you mainly work during the week in day shifts. During these services you will mainly inspect and carry out minor maintenance. At a certain point you work the night shifts. These also occur occasionally on weekends. You work approximately two night shifts on a Saturday per month. To provide clarity as much as possible, the schedules are often announced for an entire year. In addition, you immediately receive a contract with the client and there is certainly the prospect of permanent employment.

The company you will be working for has been committed to improving the mobility of Dutch rail for more than twenty years. It is a large company with a family atmosphere and you will be hired immediately. The company operates in the Amsterdam region, so if you come from Haarlem, Haarlemmermeer or Amstelveen, for example, the work location is easily accessible.
Requirements
- Passion for technology, for example tinkering as a hobby;
- In possession of a driver's license;
- Available full-time;
- Good command of the Dutch language;
- Completed technical training.
What we offer
The salary for this position is based on your experience and varies between €2000 and €3600 gross per 4 weeks. This means that you get paid 13 times a year and in addition receive holiday pay and any allowances for working nights and weekends. You will work approximately 2 night shifts per month. You will be employed directly by the client and will therefore benefit from their excellent employment conditions, including 48 days' holiday per year, a sports scheme and an excellent pension scheme.
