What are you going to do?
Many orders come in every day. In the warehouse we look for the correct items for the order and prepare them for shipment. Together with your colleagues from the logistics team, you ensure the daily implementation of the logistics processes.
The order picking department consists of three rooms with different temperatures. Two of those rooms are cooled to protect the products. As an order picker you will work in all three areas, because the orders that need to be collected are spread out. To work in cold areas, you are given clothing that keeps you warm. If you have worked as a warehouse employee or logistics employee in the past, then this is definitely something for you!
About the employer
Our client is an American multinational that specializes in biotechnology. The distribution center is in Bleiswijk. So if you live in Rotterdam or Leiden, it is easier to go by car. The company is easily accessible by public transport from The Hague and Zoetermeer.
Requirements
- You are someone who does not like to sit still and who knows how to tackle things;
- You are precise in your work;
- You get along well with scanners;
- You are physically fine.
What we offer
- Full-time position from Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM;
- The starting salary is €12.50 gross per hour and from January is €13.27-€13.50 per hour;
- Travel allowance of €0.21 per hour;
- The company is easily accessible by both public transport and car. €0.21 per kilometer;
- The contract is a temporary employment contract, but there is certainly the prospect of permanent employment.
