What are you going to do?
As a full-time warehouse employee, you ensure that the end products are made in the workshop. You are also responsible for basic maintenance of the machines, such as cleaning the production tanks. These products are made using a specific recipe and production instructions so it is important that these are followed. You will also clear incoming raw materials into the warehouse using a forklift. Finally, the client finds it important that a tidy and safe workplace is maintained and that you and the team ensure improvements in this regard. If you have worked as a logistics employee or forklift driver in the past, then this position is definitely for you!
About the employer
Our customer is a family business in Benthuizen, a leading manufacturer of high-quality Car Care and Car Wash applications. The products are sold in the Benelux through our own dealer network to professional end users such as cleaning companies, car washes and damage repair companies. The company has grown considerably in recent years and the first sketches have now been designed for a new factory. Due to growth and the need for further professionalization, they are looking for a new colleague. If you come from Rotterdam, The Hague, Leiden or Gouda, it is useful if you have your own transport. The company can also be reached by public transport from Zoetermeer.
Requirements
You are someone with technical insight and who knows how to tackle things. You are flexible and stress-resistant and enjoy working in a team. A forklift certificate is required to perform this function. Do you not have this (yet) and would you like to? No problem, we are happy to help you with training options to obtain the certificate. Working safely is very important to you and if you already have experience in working with hazardous substances, this is great! For this position it is necessary to have a good command of the Dutch language. Preferably you live in the immediate area or have your own transport.
What we offer
The work takes place from Monday to Friday and starts at 8:00 am until approximately 4:30 pm. The salary for this full-time position is between €12 and €15 gross per hour and on top of that you will receive a travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer. When you travel by public transport, the costs of the journey are fully reimbursed. Your initial contract is a temporary employment contract, but you certainly have the prospect of permanent employment.
